Oky doky folks. Before u start laughing yer assess off or bashing my hair or giving me shit for this photo I took… hm… maybe 1O years ago, make some effort to investigate a bit and read about the origins of x-mas tree. Long before Christians raped ancient pagan traditions, arresting most of its fundamental elements and adopting them to their new religious system the tree was a pagan symbol of life-giving energy. It was worshipped by Hebrews, Egypt, Scandinavia and many more… During Roman Saturnalia the trees were being decorated with wreaths. Of korz I am not discovering America here but it's always good to keep reminding people where MOST of Christian eves and rituals come from. There is really NOTHING original nor unique in it. It's all pre-christian cults so if you are an angry and hateful 13 year old Black Metaller, worry not! Buy yer mom a gift! You are not doing anything wrong here and she will appreciate it a lot! Anyways, I do appreciate this time of the year for many reasons and yes, I do buy presents for my loved ones… at the same time hoping they have NO faith in Santa C. and other Christian Mickey Mouse bullshit myths
